Bio Wine Spirit nasce agli inizi del 1996, unendo le forze di tre musicisti attivi da molti anni nell'area milanese e provenienti dalle più diverse esperienze che li hanno visti collaborare al fianco di artisti italiani e stranieri (Paola Turci, Samuele Bersani, Banco, Gigi Cifarelli, Zachary Richard, Chicken Mambo tra gli altri). Il gruppo prende vita per l'esigenza di riscoprire i vecchi classici (e non soltanto!) dell'hard'n'roll di stampo anglo-americano delle ultime due decadi (Van Halen, Deep Purple, Motörhead, Kiss, Black Sabbath), le profonde radici dei componenti del gruppo, autentici rockers anche e soprattutto nella vita quotidiana. I trascinanti live-shows di Wine Spirit sono un momento di assoluta celebrazione del rock più sanguigno, intenso e viscerale, impreziosito non soltanto dalle capacità strumentali del power-trio ma anche da quelle di coinvolgere ed intrattenere il pubblico, sempre più numeroso ad ogni concerto. Dimostratore ufficiale dal '97 di Yamaha Music Italia, per la quale ha tenuto numerose clinics da un capo all'altro della Penisola, partecipando anche al Gods of Metal 2000 e 2001. Dopo l'uscita del primo album ufficiale (Bombs Away) nel novembre 2001 per l'etichetta texana Perris Records, la Band ora ha firmato un nuovo contratto discografico con la Label SACRED METAL per il secondo album e la successiva ristampa del primo. These guys have come from many different experiences and can boast of several collaborations with a lot of prestigious foreign and Italian artists. The aim of the band is to rediscover the old classic (and more!) anglo-american hard'n'roll hit songs (from artists like Van Halen, Motörhead, Black Sabbath, Saxon, Deep Purple, Kiss), which are the band-mates’ roots, as they are three real, true die-hard rockers, even and especially in their lives. Wine Spirit's gripping live shows are a unique celebration of the most genuine, intense and visceral rock, enriched by virtuoso performances and loud entertainment of the audience, growing larger and hotter after every gig. Since 1997, Wine Spirit has become “Yamaha Music” official endorsers: they held a lot of clinics all over Italy. In December 1999 they recorded a 6 tracks demo CD to catch the attention of press, recording studios owners and records company dealers. The CD raised lively interest and had excellent reviews (see Metal Shock mag. #288 and Guitar Club mag.). Wine Spirit has got the honour to open for the shows of a lot of Rock Legends such as Alvin Lee, Rage, U.D.O. and Glenn Hughes and now, after two 'Gods Of Metal' festival editions, hundreds of live gigs and their first album 'BOMBS AWAY' (released 2001) the band is ready to rock the world with the brand new album titled 'FIRE IN THE HOLE', out in June 2004.
